Well it isn't. I use my desktop PC to go to the website. I enter my driving licence number, my passport number etc. etc.
It now tells me that I now need a Gov.uk One Login account.
I open a Gov.uk One Login account, using my address of the last 36 years, my 54 year old driving licence number & my passport details that was renewed last year. With all of this information it can't verify who I am & I have to download the app to my phone.
The app refuses to go beyond the log in page!
I gave up after 3 hours.
It certainly isn't quicker & easier.
