Towards Nett Zero....
....Our clock needed some TLC. It's been on the wall, keeping good time for 30 years! A few weeks ago it started to become erratic & kept stopping. I thought a clean & a light oiling may get it going, it didn't! So, in doing our bit to become nett zero, I've converted to an electric mechanism. 🤔🤔🤔🤭🤭🤭
Into Autumn....
....Sept 24th, the sun is going down, the wind is blowing.... I'm still in my shed, listening to toons on my headphones! 🤭🤭🤭

....Whatever you think about our country, it's a fantastic place to live! I've only got to walk 200 metres for a free flu vaccination!

Fibre Internet To The House....
....There's a new telegraph pole been erected opposite our house. It's for FTTH (Fibre To The Home). The fibre cable is in a duct under the pavement, it then runs up the pole & is fed overhead to UR house. They've put this pole up in a tree! The branches wave about? That'll snap the cable. Plus, the tree is directly between our house & the pole!

My Little Foodie Experiment....
.... 🤔 I had 2 pork loin steaks in the freezer. I made a marinade of olive oil, lemon juice, dried herbs & garlic, mint sauce & tomato sauce. Put it all in a bag with the pork & let it defrost. Bloomin lovely! 👍

....I'm sitting in the greenhouse, the sun is shining, the Stella Artois is cold & the podcast "Nazis - The Road To Power" is dramatic!
