Connected on a GWR train....

.... Traveling through the West Country.

Looking Out the Window....

.... Looking out the window,

Is that someone that I know?

They are waving rather madly,

Both hands to & fro.

Then I begin to realize,

What is in their eyes.

They're waving at the steam train.

Something many do.

The question I ask myself,

Should I wave too?

Sitting on the Top Deck....

....  On the bus, pay the fare, up the stairs.

Sitting on the top deck,

The sights they trundle by.

What a view I have from my seat up in the sky.

Ordered on the Wetherspoons app....

.... It all arrived within 7 minutes! I'm impressed.

Seagulls in the night....

I'm staying in a B&B,

It is by the sea.

The seagulls, they keep waking me, from my nightly slumber.

Squawking & a screeching,

It is such a bummer!

On a warm summer Sunday....

.... I sit in my shed with a few beers.

Semi retirement is great....

.... Between shifts there has been a Deliziosa Speciale Pizza, camping with good friends, wine in my shed and steam trains.
